Stress-free life

The Joy of Living a Stress-free Life

A stress-free life is an integral part of spiritual life. And, who doesn’t want to live stress-free? We all want to live in peace, ease, and joy. We would love to live free of worry, anxiety, and stress. But that is not the usual way of life for most human beings. True spiritual masters maintain a blissful state of detachment at all times. No matter what happens, they can remain centered and see all events as part of the illusion.

What causes stress, and what can you do to maintain the peace, ease, and joy of a master? How do you transcend the physical illusion to know divine reality?

What Causes Stress?

Believe it or not, stress is imagined. The knee-jerk reaction to this statement is, “No way! Of course, I am going to be upset by when bad things happen. Of course, I am going to worry about what happens to my family and friends.” However, stress does not have to be part of your reality. You are in charge of what you choose to believe and how you choose to respond to any situation or outcome.

The simplicity of the bottom line is that our emotional attachments to outcomes cause our stress – our beliefs of what is good or bad, what that means, and how we should respond.

As human beings, it is natural to worry or to stress over many issues in life. We see things as desirable or undesirable, beneficial or unbeneficial. However, as spiritual beings, we see the illusion and what is good in every situation.

I am not saying it is easy. We have to evolve through the stages of our beliefs to arrive at the level of mastery where we are in unconditional acceptance, free of judgment, and free of stress. To get there, we have to heal the beliefs in good and bad, right and wrong, beneficial and detrimental. We have to rise above the 3rd-dimensional perception to the 5th-dimensional perception of what is happening in life. We need to understand that everything is happening for a reason and look for the purpose and what we can learn at all times.

How to live a stress-free life

To move past the experience of stress, we have to heal the mental, emotional, and physical bodies. Remember that the energy flows downward. Our beliefs create our emotions, and our emotions create the physical reality. By working on all three levels simultaneously, you can affect positive change and stress-free living. Here is the short form.

Begin with awareness: what am I thinking, feeling, saying, and doing at this moment?

  • Am is spiritually aligned at this moment?
  • What am I thinking about what is happening?
  • What is my emotional state?
  • Am I taking care of myself physically?

Everything begins with inner work, so be consistent.

  • Meditate daily.
  • Practice energy and spiritual healing techniques.
  • Focus on high-frequency resonances: unconditional non-judgment, discernment, acceptance, forgiveness, love.
  • Always ask to manifest the highest good of all. Just because you want a particular outcome does not mean it is what everyone needs. You do not always know your path, much the road someone else needs to follow.

Identify emotional stress and change the beliefs that create it.

  • Be willing to look at the hard stuff.
  • Be honest with yourself about what you feel, why you feel it, and what you can do to change it.
  • Feed your mind with positive thoughts. What you read and listen to is important. As Zig Ziglar would say, “Garbage in, garbage out.”
  • Remember, when you change your beliefs, you change your destiny.

Learn to relax and take care of the physical.

  • Practice yoga, tai chi, or qigong.
  • Spend time alone to find your center. Walk in the woods or on the beach. Garden, paint, play music, whittle. Get grounded and do things you love.
  • Take care of your body with the right food and exercise for you. Get enough sleep and nurture your physical self.

Yes, You Can

Some of the recommendations above are easy, and some feel monumental, but you can do this. You can change your beliefs, emotional responses, and physical reality by finding balance and letting go.

Change is a choice and not always an easy one. But if you stay focused on the goal of Oneness with Source and living the life of a true master, you can let go of the old beliefs and see this world as your illusion. When you see and feel the illusion, it is easier to make choices for the highest good of your spiritual evolution.

So, when stress comes up, are you willing to look at the situation differently and let go? Will you be ready to heal your attachments and accept the flow of life, or will you stay trapped in stress by clinging to those old beliefs and emotions?

Be ready to let go and live a joyful, stress-free life. Be prepared to be an illusion buster and reframe every experience as an essential and natural part of your evolution. Find the purpose, heal the discord and fear, and let go of physical reality. Ask what is good about every situation. Rejoice in what is on your road to mastery, and know yourself as Source.
