Wow. It is so easy to get attached to our plans and not want to let go. I am sure everyone reading this, as well as myself, has a story about holding on too long. We are especially challenged when we have been pursuing a vision from our soul and get the message that the plan has changed. Well, bleep-de-bleep-bleep-bleep!
We understand the importance of going to our guidance, our self-as-Source, to create a future vision and get the steps to making it happen. However, we also have to know that things change in this world, and sometimes we have to let go when the plan changes.
I have many stories I could share, but I am being guided to share one from Sonia Choquette. Sonia has been aware of her psychic connection since she was a child and is widely recognized in the field. This story is a perfect example of trusting guidance, even when it means a huge change in the plan.
Sonia’s Story
Many years ago, she and her husband were looking for a house without success. Sonia knew she would be guided to the right house when it became available. When the right one came on the market, she was elated. However, the house was over their budget, and she had to beg and cajole her husband for many days to convince him it was right.
However, the day before the closing, she heard not to buy the house. Her husband was livid. Not only had she begged him to trust her guidance, they would also lose their earnest money. He insisted they go to the closing and buy the house. At closing, she kept hearing not to buy no matter the cost. She trusted her inner voice and would not sign the papers.
You can imagine how tense the energy was around the house. But about six weeks later, there was a huge rain and a massive flood. The house they would have purchased completely washed away.
When the Plan Changes
No matter how sound the upper realms believe a plan may be, circumstances change. We have to learn to follow faithfully, but be ready and willing to let go when the plan changes. And it will change from time to time as our energies and the world energies shift.
