Listen to the Goddess

It’s Time to Listen to the Goddess!

If we will only listen to the Goddess! I love this cartoon by my dear friend Mindy Smolowitz. I am sure all of us would have loved to have had our mothers and fathers tell us over our cribs that we were the creators of our lives and capable of creating whatever we wanted to create. Maybe you were one of the lucky ones who did, but most of us did not.

However, the Goddess is always there telling us who we are and what we can do if we will only listen. We hear over and over that we are the creators of our reality, that we have all the power of the God/Goddess, of Source, and that we can create miracles. Hearing that, accepting that, and integrating that to make it our truth and our reality is not as easy as it should be; but, we can all get there. We just need to practice and believe.

Listen and Believe

I love the movie “Finding Neverland,” which tells the story of J. M. Barrie creating the play “Peter Pan.” Everyone thinks his Peter Pan fantasy is nuts. Barrie knows that getting his adult audiences involved will take some creativity. He decides to seed the opening night audience with children from a local orphanage. The children, unlimited by adult mindset, jump quickly into the story. Their fascination soon becomes contagious, and the adults in the audience begin to loosen and get involved in the play. When Tinkerbell is dying, the audience is asked to believe―to clap their hands and say aloud that they believe―to bring Tinkerbell back. Adults and children alike are clapping and shouting, “I believe!”

We have to open our stodgy mindsets and allow ourselves to become again as little children. We have to release the fears of our power as unlimited creators and step into all that we are. It’s time to listen to the Goddess as she says, “Who’s the creator? Are you the creator? Yes, you are. Yes, you are.”

Allow yourself to be the infant in the crib listening to the Goddess tell you who you are. Allow yourself to be the innocent child who still believes and is unafraid to try. Open your hearts, open your minds, and allow yourself to fly. It is all within you if you will just believe.

  1. Thank you, Marsha. I love this so much! The lightheartedness of it allows the feeling to sink in and urges me to ‘Believe!’
