Have you found pure joy in who you are? I have often reminded you to find joy in the little things in life and in all that you do, but do you celebrate the glory and perfection of your being?
Beyond Gratitude to Joy
In an older post, “Spirit Says, Try Gratitude in Reverse,” I encouraged you to look at all of your beauty and be grateful for who you are. To see yourself as Source sees you and know how you are loved. Today, I am suggesting you find pure joy in who you are and celebrate what Source sees in you.
Many of you have shared that you are feeling edgy, getting irritated at yourself and others for no real reason. I know how easy it is to fall into judgment and criticism, especially ourselves. So, today is the day to look at the long list of your wonderful qualities and celebrate who you are.
Self-celebration is a form of self-love. It is not just gratitude for you are. It is honoring and loving yourself as an extension of Source. Look in the mirror, look into your heart, and revel in the majesty of your being.
We often forget or cannot see the greatness in ourselves. Therefore, I recommend making a list of your qualities, skills, and accomplishments that you or others admire in you. Sometimes others see things we don’t, but sometimes we see things others don’t. Just go for. Make your list, read it aloud, and say, “WOW,” because you are worthy of a WOW!
Next, create a ceremony for self-praise. See the true beauty in each item on your list and find pure joy in who you are. You are incredible!
