Just sit there, don’t do a thing, and let me share a poem I posted some years ago. I love Sufi poetry and this is one of my favorite poems – so simple and so true. I hope you enjoy it again.
Just sit there right now.
Don’t do a thing.
Just rest,
For your separation from God
Is the hardest work in this world.
Let me bring you trays of food
And something that you like to drink.
You can use my soft words
As a cushion
For your
Head.
Hafiz, Persian/Sufi poet
Whenever you feel tired or rushed, alone or overwhelmed, remember this poem. Take a deep breath and know who you are. Know that you are loved and supported; treasured and needed; strong and enduring. There is no need to rush. You are eternal. Time is an illusion. You have the power because you are Source.

This brings true peace to my soul.
Mine, too. This is something we all need to practice.
